Terms of service

Plain-English terms of service

Last updated: July 28, 2026 · applies to redemo.io

What these terms cover

This is the agreement between you and Kiora (France) — the company that operates Redemo, "we" below — when you use redemo.io, request access, or run a Redemo account. Written in plain English on purpose: there is no second meaning hidden in legalese further down.

How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy, and how we handle the demo-account credentials you give us is on the security page. Both are part of this agreement.

What the service does

You give us the URL of your app, the login of a demo account, and a short script. Our pipeline records real footage of your product with a headless browser, adds an AI presenter and voice-over, and renders a 1080p video you can download and publish. Every regeneration re-records your app as it is at that moment — that is the whole point of the product.

Redemo is an early-stage product

Redemo is early-stage software: plan contents and features can change, renders can fail and need a retry, and there is no uptime guarantee. We say plainly what exists and what doesn't rather than implying a finished platform. Don't wire Redemo into a process you couldn't survive being unavailable for a few days.

Plans, billing and cancellation

  • Price: $49 (Launch), $99 (Grow) or $249 (Scale) per month, in US dollars, per account. Prices exclude any tax that may apply to you.
  • Payment: card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Renewal: subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel. No minimum term, no annual lock-in.
  • Cancel anytime: email contact@redemo.io or cancel from your account. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've already paid for; we don't pro-rate partial months and we don't ask you why.
  • You keep your videos: cancelling stops new renders and hosted embeds, but every video already rendered stays yours — download the MP4 files and use them commercially, forever, with no further payment. Your download links stay live for 30 days after cancellation so you can pull everything down; ask and we will extend that.
  • If we break a render: tell us. If it's our fault and we can't fix it, we'd rather refund the month than argue about it.
  • Price changes: we email paying accounts at least 30 days before a price change takes effect. You can cancel before it does.

What you're responsible for

By pointing us at an app, you confirm that you own it or are authorised to have it recorded, and that the account you hand over holds data you are allowed to put on video — demo or seeded data, never a real customer's records. You're also responsible for what you publish: check every render before it goes out, you are the last reviewer.

Don't use Redemo to:

  • record a product you have no right to record, or impersonate another company;
  • produce anything illegal, deceptive, or infringing someone else's rights;
  • attack, overload, or reverse-engineer the pipeline, or resell access to it as your own service.

We can suspend or close an account that does any of the above, or that puts the pipeline or other customers at risk.

Who owns what

  • Yours: your app, your brand, your script, the footage we capture of your product, and the rendered videos. Recording your product gives us no ownership of it.
  • Ours: the pipeline, the site, the code and templates behind it, and the Redemo name. A subscription is a right to use the service, not a licence to the software.
  • Licensed in: the AI presenters and voices come from third-party providers. They're licensed for use inside the videos we render for you — you can publish those videos anywhere, but you can't extract a presenter or voice to reuse elsewhere.
  • Showing your video: we'd love to use a render as an example of what Redemo does. We only do that if you tell us we can, in writing. Never by default.

What we don't promise

The service is provided as is. We don't warrant that a render will be perfect, that the recorder will capture every screen the way you pictured it, that the service will be available at any given moment, or that a demo video will win you customers. For a beta this is not boilerplate — it's the honest description.

As far as the law allows: we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss (lost revenue, lost deals, lost data, reputational harm), and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that French law doesn't allow us to limit.

Ending it

You can stop at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms or doesn't pay, with an email explaining why. If we ever shut the service down, we give at least 30 days' notice and your renders stay downloadable for the whole period.

Changes to these terms

The product is moving, so this page will too — the date at the top always says when it last changed. Material changes are emailed to paying accounts. Continuing to use Redemo after a change means you accept the new version.

Law, and how to reach us

Redemo is sold to businesses. These terms are governed by French law, and French courts handle anything we can't settle by email — please email first, we'd much rather fix it. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory local law.

Redemo is operated by Kiora (France). Questions about these terms: contact@redemo.io.
