Comparison
Redemo vs Arcade vs Storylane
Arcade, Storylane and Supademo build interactive click-through demos your prospect drives. Redemo renders a narrated video of your real app that you download as an MP4. Arcade overlaps most: it also generates AI video and re-captures demos when your UI changes. Decide by artifact — something people click, or something people watch.

the correction we owe you
"Only Redemo keeps your demo fresh" is not a claim we make
Plenty of comparison pages will tell you interactive demo tools go stale and only their product does not. We are not going to: Arcade announced an Auto-update Agent in December 2025 — it logs into your product, re-captures the flow when the UI changes and puts an updated version in front of a human for review. As of this writing it ships inside Creator Studio behind a waitlist and does not appear in Arcade's documentation, so we cannot tell you how it performs. What we can tell you: if it lands as announced, the "stays current" argument stops being ours alone, and Arcade is a more mature product than we are.
The honest difference is narrower and worth naming precisely. Redemo's output is a narrated video file you own, and regeneration is something your release pipeline triggers — a call from your release pipeline — not an agent deciding something changed. If a demo video is a build artifact to you, that is the difference. If it is not, Arcade is probably the better buy, and we would rather say so here than waste your trial.
Side by side
Four tools, four different artifacts
| Redemo | Arcade | Storylane | Supademo | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What you end up with | A narrated 1080p MP4 video. Watch it, embed it, put it in an email or a deck. | An interactive click-through demo, plus AI-generated on-brand videos. MP4 and GIF export available on paid plans. | An interactive demo, sandbox demos, and demo Hubs. MP4 and GIF export available — the export is no longer interactive. | An interactive walkthrough with branching and personalization. Exports to GIF, MP4 and PDF. |
| How your product gets captured | Nobody records anything. A headless browser (Playwright) logs into a demo or staging account and walks your app from a storyboard. | You capture the flow yourself with a browser extension or desktop app. A Figma plugin turns designs into demos. | You capture it yourself with the Chrome extension — screenshot (static) or HTML/CSS (responsive) demos — plus Mac and Windows apps, Figma. | You capture it yourself with the demo recorder or screen recorder. Also an HTML demo builder, Figma import and screenshots. |
| Narration | English AI presenter over the footage, natural voice-over and automatic subtitles. Contact us separately about availability of a cloned-presenter pilot. | AI-generated video from prompts, screenshots and captured demos, aligned to your brand kit. | AI-generated voiceovers, on-screen guides and chapters. | AI voiceovers, with voice cloning on higher plans. |
| Staying current when you ship | Request an update from your account or release pipeline. We prepare the new cut for review; the published video changes only after your approval. | An Auto-update Agent: Arcade logs in, re-captures the new flow, rebuilds the experience and presents it for human review (shipped December 2025). | You re-capture and edit in the editor when the UI moves. | You re-capture and edit in the editor when the UI moves. |
| Where it clearly wins | A video asset that a release pipeline owns, not a person. | Breadth: interactive demos, AI video and auto-updating, in one mature product. | Sales motion: sandbox demos, Hubs, personalization, analytics and CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Slack). | Interactive breadth: branching, audience personalization, AI demo agents. |
Who each one is for
Pick the artifact your buyer actually wants
Arcade
The broadest option here, and our closest competitor. Interactive demos captured from a browser extension or desktop app, AI video generation from prompts and captured flows, brand-kit alignment, and an announced auto-update agent. If you want one tool covering both formats and you do not need the video tied to your CI, start here.
Storylane
Built around the sales motion. Sandbox demos for live calls, Hubs for post-call follow-up, persona personalization, engagement analytics, and integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo and Slack. If a demo is something your AEs send and you track, this is the category leader for that job.
Supademo
Strong on interactive breadth: several capture methods (recorder, screen recorder, HTML builder, Figma), branching logic, audience personalization, AI voiceovers and AI demo agents, with GIF, MP4 and PDF export. A good fit when onboarding and support content matter as much as marketing.
Redemo
For teams who want a demo video on the release train. No recording session, ever — you give a URL and a script, and the pipeline films the live app. Then your CI re-renders it whenever you ship, and you keep every 1080p MP4. Narrow on purpose.
Where Redemo is the wrong choice
Five cases where you should not pick us
Redemo is a young product. We have no interest in signing up someone it cannot serve.
-
You want the prospect to click through your product at their own pace. That is an interactive demo, and Redemo does not make one — Arcade, Storylane and Supademo do.
-
You need demo analytics per account, CRM sync, or personalized demo links for outbound. Storylane and Supademo are built around that; Redemo hands you a video file.
-
You want one platform for demos, videos and interactive content. Arcade covers more surface than we do, and it is a far more mature product.
-
Your best flow spans several desktop apps, or lives behind a login we cannot reach. Redemo drives a browser session against a reachable URL with demo credentials.
-
You ship a couple of times a year. Automatic re-filming is the whole point of Redemo — if your UI is stable, you are paying monthly for something you do not need.
